We did 10 miles today. Tried to run a bit. Still sore from running the other day. Running sucks. Ugh.
I think that we need to separate our goals of running and doing a full marathon. I may still try to run in my midweek workouts, but not a ton, and not during our long walks. The pain and tired from running goes against the whole trying to walk for a long time thing.
I shouldn't really be too surprised that it was a hard day. As I've said, the running is new, also, this is the longest I've gone in almost a year, and these distances are new for Seth. For the first time, he was actually sore! Do I sound pleased? I'm not, completely. It was just a little pukey to me that no matter what we did, his body could take it just fine. I'm happy for him. Estatic.
