I wasn't ready anyway.

So, I was going to be running/walking in this year's Kaiser Permanente 1/2 Marathon, but I will be in Michigan for the race. In a way, I'm not too sad because a) it was only $40 to enter, b) I'll give my entry to a friend, c) I'm not ready for a race, and d) I'm afraid that the weather would be just as crappy as last year and I'd not beat my time at all.

So, I'll look for a summer race and hope to have money to register.

A 107-year old movie, still entertaining, bizarre, somewhat confusing.

I have 1/2 marathon #4 in 3 weeks, and it has been Christmas, and vacation, and a nasty cold all piled on top of one another. I rilly rilly wanted to beat my time from last year, but I wanted to do that in San Jose in October! It was flat, the weather was nice.

I'm just not prepared. I pray that the weather is better than last year at this race, and I strive to beat that time- 3hrs. Argh. I'm gonna be so sore.
